Happy Halloween!

Today Ethan did a trial run in his costume... and run it was! He ran around and kept falling down, he had a rough time getting up due to the padding in the belly area. It was a hoot! Hopefully he does better tomorrow night. But he wasn't going to hold still long enough for me to get a good shot. I will have to try again later! Boo... But here is the only one I got of him NOT on the floor. What a cute froggy!

Oh my gosh! Such a fun shoot this morning. 2 little fairy princesses for their halloween photos! As promised moms a little peek of the fun we captured! Tara is a natural and likes to have her pictures taken. Ingrid, I did get some photos where she is not holding on to the corn cob! Cassie didn't know what to think at first so, we just followed her around until she felt like looking. I got a lot of great pix of the back of her costume! (lol!) Great job girls! They were SO MUCH fun! Can't wait to photograph them again! (click on the images to get a bigger view)

My boys

My lil guys are so cute! William has been teaching Ethan to skateboard. This has been a bit dangerous because Ethan see's his big bro skating in the road and thinks he can too! Let alone he is going to crack his head if he falls on the concrete. Anyone know if they make saftey helmets for 1 year olds, I haven't found one small enough. In the mean time, we are trying to teach him to sit on the skateboard- instead of standing!

Saturdays

My Saturdays are always full of fun with the boys... Ethan loves to play outside and William has football. I don't know what we will do to stay busy once it snows!

Urban Border

Here is another project that I have been fantisizing about all week...the urban border / photo frame. Needs a little tweeking still but for a few day dreams and 5 minutes of work- I am pretty pleased. I have to make the most out of the time I acutally spend working on the computer, most of my editing and creating happens in my head while I am driving or chasing kids!

I am in the process of making Ethan's 1st year photo book. I have been thinking of ideas for the cover for days... I think I may go with something like this- it's very simple but not distracting. ok, i never go with the 1st draft. But what do you think?

Collages

I have decided to inclue a customer collage in my $50 package... just because I like making them! Yahooo!

Cards

OH my... busy day! My sister talked me into selling some cards at a holiday boutique. So we have been making cards by the bunches... it's kinda fun, but what in the world will I do with all these cards if no one buys them? Anyway, I should have taken photographs of the kids while we were trying to be productive... but I was trying to get some cards made. Ethan was riding William's skateboard, Sydni was making her own cards to sell (scraps with ribbons, very cute!), Angelo was trying to avoid Ethan... very fun for them to. Oh, and William was at a birthday party. Good bonding times the little ones! ...and everyone survived- no blood! Ok, here is a sample of some of the "wonderful" cards I have made. If you are interested in going to the boutique, let me know. I will find out where it is. I do know it's Nov 1st, and that's it. (Horray, Craig will be home from Vegas tomorrow!)

frustration

not about this collage but my computer is being rediculous today! It wont burn a CD! AHHH! I want to scream, but it's late and the kids will wake up. So, I thought I would vent on the blog. Sorry, Ingrid! Your photographs will have to wait til tomorrow to be burned.

oh, DUCK

When we were taking pictures in Stansbury Park the other day we made some friends with some ducks. They came right out of the water towards us and then followed us around. Must have been looking for food... too bad we didn't have any for them, maybe next time!

Missing the shaggy hair

I took Ethan to get a hair cut -as many of you had requested...Oh boy, it's bad news! The girl kept cutting and cutting and cutting...anyway he looks like one of the Beatles now. So, I am posting a picture in memory of Ethan's cool hair, may it grow back quickly! (Good thing I took some pictures of him right before we went to get the hair cut!)

Football

TO TOOELE MITY MIGHTS!!! This is William's 4th season playing football. He loves it! It consumes a ton of our time.... but it's fun. I took some shots at the game on Saturday and William told me they were all bad because they were blocks not tackles... I will post some anyway!
